Habibs Hair and Beauty was established by Habib Ahmed in 1976. His vision was to build an institution, an esteemed homegrown Indian brand that constantly builds and reinvents itself for the ever changing demands of the industry. After 50+ years of service, its safe to say he has not only reached but far surpassed his own vision.
In the post-independence era, while many industries were flourishing, the beauty and hairdressing sector in India remained largely unexplored. It was Habib Ahmed’s dream to redefine beauty services, ensuring that everyone—from commoners to dignitaries—could experience premium, personalized services. His innovative techniques, learned and perfected at the Morris Hair Academy in London, combined with his rich experience serving India’s elite, laid the foundation for the Habib brand—a brand that has always stayed true to its mission of offering world-class services accessible to all.
